Headache is one of the most common medical complaints. Headaches are a major source of chronic pain. There are dozens of causes of headache, most headaches are due to stress or tension, hunger, fever, eyestrain.

Regular and chronic headache:
Regular and chronic headache patients can quickly develop a tolerance to painkillers, causing them to need more medications to stop the pain, eventually it will get to a point where not taking medications will trigger the headache as the body attempt to withdraw from the drug. The treatment for chronic headache could include simple herbs/home remedies.
Herbal/Home remedies
- Rob peppermint oil on forehead at the onset of the headache.
- Infused peppermint leave in a glass of hot water and drink
- Put a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger in a cup of hot water and drink
- Chew black garlic
- Add one teaspoon of powdered tumeric in a cup of hot water and drink
- Mix bitter leaf and basil juice together and drink.
There are many herbs available to treat the annoying symptoms, some are formulated to treat the conditions topically while others are meant for internal consumption.
The purpose of all is to release the natural hormone like substance called the endorphin to suppress the sensation of pain which they do by binding to the opiate receptor in the brain.
